Remove Shortcut Virus Using Command Prompt or CMD
The most effective method to remove
this deadly virus from usb flash drive is through CMD. Connect your shortcut
virus infected USB to your computer. Now click on start button and search for
“CMD”. Right click on cmd.exe and click on “run as administrator”. Once CMD
window is opened, type your drive letter like if your drive letter is “f” then
type “f:” in CMD and hit enter.
Now next type “del *lnk” (without
the commas) and hit enter. Once done, type the command below followed by Enter
key to finish the process.
attrib –s –r –h *.* /s /d /l
Yep, that’s it. Now check your USB
flash drive again. You will be amazed to see all your folders recovered. That
